Volunteer
Conversation partners & table leaders
Serve as a host for table conversations. Sometimes small groups; other times one-to-one. Most students know enough English to participate. Conversations might be about the day’s Bible story, or just small-talk. It’s about getting students accustomed to listening to and speaking English.
No prior teaching or ESL experience is required, even for teachers. Conversation partners do not need to attend every week, and they can come just for the last hour.

ESL class fosters friendships
Jesus urged us to welcome the stranger. Here’s a great chance: Our church hosts an ESL class on Saturday mornings, and there are several ways to serve our neighbors learning English.
