Spiritual Gifts Assessment and background check
Kids Ministry
Whether on a Sunday morning or Wednesday evening, you can help kids (early childhood through grade 5) develop a foundational understanding of who God is and what it means to be part of the church!
Production Team
Help make Sundays happen. Don’t let the name intimidate you! Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome and all training is provided. Bonus: Our Production Team gets donuts every Sunday morning!
First Impressions Team
Be the first friendly face someone sees when visiting our church on a Sunday morning! Serve with our First Impressions team as a valet, usher or at our Connection Center.
Student Ministry
On Wednesdays evenings from 6:15–8:15 p.m., be a part of the team of volunteers who pour into and shepherd our middle and high school students. The reward is so great!
Give
Invest in God’s Kingdom
We believe financial giving is as much a part of worship as anything else we do as a church. All of First Free Rockford’s ministries, programming, staff and facilities are funded exclusively by regular giving from our congregation. Giving helps build community, furthers the work of God locally and globally … and brings joy to the giver!
WAYS TO GIVE:
- In person. There are drop boxes as you leave the Sanctuary and at the Connection Center in the lobby.
- Mail a check: 2223 N. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61107
- App. Make a single gift or set up recurring giving. Click the “Give” button.
- Text. Text “Give” to 815-205-1233.
- Bank draft. To set up a direct, recurring gift from your bank account and avoid credit card transaction fees, you can download a Direct Giving Authorization Form. Please print and complete the form then drop it off or mail it to us.
BIG DAY OF SERVING
JEREMIAH FUND
The Jeremiah Fund Grant is a “no strings attached” grant of $750 which must be applied for at the First Free Rockford website. Any qualifying organization will be considered for a grant, upon submission of the online application.
