Some Areas of Responsibility Include: 

1. Oversee midweek programming of sound and lighting consoles.
2. Be responsible for stage set-ups for weekly services (including full choir and orchestra) and special events.
3. Recruit new volunteers and working with the Assistant Technical Director to train and schedule volunteers.
4. Create and deploy new set designs for the sanctuary stage. Participate in weekly meetings with worship and pastoral staff to ensure their vision for the weekend services will be carried out.
5. Provide basic service and maintenance of all production equipment throughout the campus and external venues including keeping software/firmware updated.
   1. Advanced knowledge of Yamaha digital audio consoles, Vista by Chroma Q and GrandMA lighting control, Propresenter presentation software and Blackmagic Design video equipment.
   2. Manages all Dante audio networks used at First Free Rockford (Dante certified preferred)
6. Maintain a basic knowledge of musical instruments and understand how to capture their audio signal.
7. Stay up to date with web streaming guidelines and equipment to ensure uninterrupted service for our many members that attend our online venue.

Education and Experience:

1. 2–5 years minimum experience in related field.
2. Excellent attention to details.
3. Flexible attitude, prepared for regular changes.
4. Experience of leading and managing a team of at least 10 people.
5. Demonstrates audio mixing skills as well as lighting programming proficiency.
