Fall Programs 2020

Adults | Students | Kids

**Registration now closed** Life Groups – Life Groups meet in homes to discuss Scripture, build friendships and share life and faith together. We believe this is the best environment to develop deeper relationships with God and others, and to grow spiritually in community. New groups have already launched. Check back after the holidays.

Adult Communities – Adult Communities are discipleship groups for ages 50 and older. Six groups are offered that gather together throughout the week. Various times available. Contact your group leader for details.

Bible Studies – We offer a variety of group Bible studies for men and women. Each centers on a specific curriculum and typically follows a roundtable discussion format. These studies provide a welcoming environment to deepen your understanding of the Bible and build community. Various times and location options available. See details below.

Starting Point – In Starting Point classes, you can explore questions about God and Christianity. Discussion leaders walk the group through topics like beginning faith in Christ, prayer and reading the Bible. It’s a low-pressure environment and we don’t mind hard questions! Classes meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays Oct. 7–28. Register below.

Membership Matters – In Membership Matters classes, you will learn about First Free Rockford: what we do, what we believe and how you can be involved. You’ll also hear about our history in the Rockford community and meet the people who oversee our current ministries. Next session meets at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4. Watch the preliminary video and register below.

Closer Women’s Retreat – Draw near to God, delight in his creation, and discover community with other women. Retreat on your own, with a friend, or with women from your life group, adult community or Bible study. This retreat will be held in host homes in the Rockford area Friday, Nov. 13 and Saturday, Nov. 14.
