English (ESL) Classes

English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are held each Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. in Room 145. Please RSVP by calling the main office at 815-877-7046. This is a friendly, fun and encouraging environment and anyone is welcome regardless of their skill level. On your first day, you will take a brief test to determine which classroom is best for you. Please enter through our East entrance and head downstairs to Room 145. Materials cost $40 (financial assistance is available).

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Our ESL ministry is in need of volunteer teachers and conversation partners. No training or certifications are required—we use a robust curriculum with all the information you’ll need to feel equipped to lead your class. Conversation partners are needed during the second hour of the class (10–11 a.m.) and can volunteer on a week by week basis as their schedule allows.
