Welcome to the Marvelous Mice Room!

Each morning we begin
talking about the calendar and weather. One of our goals is to learn the
alphabet with a different letter each week. The letter for the week is
introduced with many fun activities. Throughout the morning we have many
centers including alphabet activities, handwriting sheets, shapes,
numbers, and seasonal crafts. Learning many Bible stories and watching the
children grow spiritually is very rewarding. We follow the same schedule
each day.
The boys and girls are doing
great with letter recognition and sounding out the letters. We are
continuing to practice holding our crayons and pencils correctly and
practice writing the alphabet.
This second semester we are
beginning to learn Spanish starting with numbers. We will then continue
with colors and basic vocabulary words. We are looking forward to an
exciting second half of the year.
My goal is to get the children ready
for kindergarten by helping them with new surroundings, new friends, new
experiences, new skills, and new challenges.
