Welcome to the Butterfly
Room!
Room Coordinator: Hazel
Akers
Assistants: Fran Peplos and Kim Carlson
The teachers
of the Butterfly room are ready to welcome your children with loving arms.
Let me
introduce you to the teachers in this room. My name is Hazel Akers (4th
year in Butterfly room). I will be the room coordinator. The other
teachers in the room are Fran Peplos (5th year) and Kim Carlson who is new
to our room this year. We all have endless patience, love, and
understanding.
We feel so
blessed that you have entrusted your precious child to us. All children
are a gift from God. We will provide your child with a nurturing, safe,
fun learning environment with hugs and words of encouragement. It is such
a privilege to teach young children and their families that Jesus died and
rose for them.
The children
in this room are between the ages of 12 to 18 months. By the end of the
year, you will be amazed at how much they have grown. We are also always
amazed at how quickly they learn. It is so much fun to watch their
personalities develop. We are so excited to get the year started and meet
you and your precious little one. We have many fun things planned for your
children. We will be enjoying making crafts, reading Bible stories,
coloring, motions and movement to videos/CDs, learning our primary colors,
and counting to 5 in English and Spanish and so much more.
